Are there any other 2 organizations that capture the essence of Portland like Danner and the Timbers ? We think not. As a longtime sponsor of the Rose City FC, Danner has continually found unique ways to support the team and fans in a way that feels natural and authentic. This execution was no different.

Danner asked Portland based designer Aaron Draplin to design a mural and then partnered with celebrated muralist Jeff Canham to paint it. The result is a detailed, timeless piece that will be enjoyed by fans for years to come. PLAZMA was honored to document the process from start to finish, creating a beautiful time-lapse, a deeper cut and some still images that capture the creative process.

“I count myself very lucky to work on all the fun projects I get to work on.
But more often than not, I send off a file, and that’s the last I hear of it.

With the Danner Boots mural, not only did I get to see it come to life
with my old buddy Jeff Canham painting it,
but I get to relive it with each viewing of the content Plazma
created capturing the entire installation.
The process, the scale, the time-lapse
and cool moments I forgot about.

Murals are a one-shot kind of deal.
They have to nail it, you know? Same goes for documenting it.

And Plazma nailed that shit.”
