Like many other industries, the live music business has been badly damaged by the ravages of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is exactly the type of situation the MUSIC POLICY FORUM (MPF) was created to address. As a non-profit organization they advise governments, organizations and businesses on how to effectively engage with the music community and advance their objectives, including strategic planning, coalition building and campaign management. Resource musicians and members of the music industry who are interested in effectively engaging with policymakers, researchers, philanthropy and advocacy organizations work directly with MPF.
MPF introduced a new pilot program called REVS (Reopen Every Venue Safely) to encourage the strongest health standards inside music venues while actively supporting venue owners and artists.
The organization asked PLAZMA to create a brand identity system and video content that describes the live venue crises and how high the stakes have become as the pandemic continues. We developed new animated assets, edits, along with an audio score to craft a story that emotionally appeals to those who are fighting to keep the live music industry alive.
